Program: Innovation Connect (ICon)
Program details: ICon aims to help businesses take an innovative product or service to the stage of commercialisation or investment readiness.
This program has three components: Proof of Technology Grants ($5,000 to $50,000) supporting the development of technology plans or prototypes; Accelerating Innovation ($5,000 to $10,000) providing a range of innovation support, and Clean Technology Grants ($5,000 to $50,000) supporting early stage commercialisation projects that improve environmental quality.

Program: Canberra Business Development Fund
Program details: This fund provides eligible businesses in Canberra with capital funds through equity investment. The fund is a joint venture between the ACT Government and Australian Capital Ventures Limited. Eligible businesses must have sales of, or a proven prototype of, a commercialised product/service.

Program: Trade Connects Grants Program
Program details: Trade Connect assists Canberra businesses develop their export market by providing $15,000 to $45,000 in funds over a three-year period. Eligible businesses must generate less than $10 million in revenue and have an export development plan. Costs covered include market visits, marketing material, promotion, trade show participation, market research and so on.

Program: Entrepreneur Development Fund
Progam details: The Fund provides funding that ranges from $5000 to $20,000 for projects that facilitate skills and knowledge transfer for SMEs with high-growth potential. Examples of skills and knowledge transfer activities include acquiring knowledge about intellectual property, financial structure or management skills. Firms will be required to engage a professional consultancy service to work together on a project for four months.
