Program: TechVouchers

Program details: TechVouchers provide NSW SMEs with seed funding of up to $15,000 to help them collaborate with the NSW public research community as well as access research equipment and expertise. Businesses are required to propose a project that will benefit from a partnership with a research organisation.

Innovate NSW

Program: Minimum Viable Product (MVP)

Program details: The MVP program provides matched funding of up to 50 per cent of project costs (up to $15,000) to support SMEs in engaging and partnering with a potential reference customer in a key market sector. This includes demonstrating an idea, proving a concept, developing a prototype or customising a solution. Priority is given to B2B solutions addressing opportunities/challenges in e-health, advanced manufacturing, energy technologies, online/interactive education and transport, logistics, infrastructure.

Innovate NSW

Program: Collaborative Solutions (CS)

Program details: The CS program provides up to 25 per cent of project costs (maximum $100,000) to help develop innovative, new to market solutions within one year. It is eligible to consortiums made up of at least three entities: an innovator that develops and commercialises the solution, an end-user able to test the solution and a partner company who will provide technology, research capabilities and further assistance.

Office of Communities (Sport & Recreation)

Program: Sport and Recreation Events Program

Program details: The program aims to attract financially-viable sporting events to NSW and will provide up to 50 per cent in funding to eligible organisations that deliver sporting events that are international/national or regional/rural in nature. Eligible organisations include national/state sporting organisations, industry bodies, not-for-profits and event organisers in the sporting industry.

International sporting events are eligible for up to $30,000, national championships may receive up to $15,000 and regional or rural community participation events are eligible for up to $10,000 in funding.

NSW Trade & Investment

Program: Australian Technology Showcase

Program details:A national networking program aimed at developing export markets for innovative, technology-based products. Businesses must possess an innovative technology with the potential to be marketed globally, must have IP or exclusive worldwide rights to the technology and must have a clear commercialisation strategy.

Screen NSW

Program: Early Stage Development

Program details: Screen NSW is offering up to $20,000 in funding for NSW businesses and individuals to develop digital and multi-platform content, narrative TV (series, telemovies), documentaries and feature films. Funding does not include infotainment, current affairs programs, shorts or community TV programs. Track record in the film industry will be considered when allocating funding.
