Program: Small Business Emergency Assistance

Program details: The Small Business Emergency Assistance provides SMEs impacted by drought conditions with up to 50% interest subsidy payable on new or existing loans. The maximum interest subsidy is $10,000 per year for two years.

Program: First Start Loan

Program details:The First Start Loan provides businesses in the primary production industry with up to $650,000 in loans in the early years of operation. Eligible businesses must have resided in Queensland for at least six months and should have 50 per cent in equity or set-up costs, among other conditions.

Program: Getting Export Smart

Tourism and Events Queensland

Program: Regional Development Program

Program details: Aimed at increasing economic/social benefits to regional Queensland, this grant provides either core event funding for an event in a single year, or a significant regional events scheme that supports events in a single year or multiple years (maximum three years).

Department of Premier and Cabinet 

Program:Super Star Fund


Program details:The Super Star Fund, administered by Arts Queensland, aims to provide up to $3 million funding over four years from 2012-2016, to support local performing arts companies to engage international artists. Applicants will need to match the funding sought and have a track record of staging "large-scale, high-quality productions".

Successful examples include the Hamburg Philharmonic Orchestra Concert at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre and Symphony Under the Stars at the Brisbane Festival in 2012.
